Hi, I'm Jen.

As a kid, I was always doodling in class or painting items that my parents didn't necessarily want painted. When I ran out of furniture to paint, I'd move on to canvas or paper. I was always looking for ways to express myself creatively and was always willing to try a new medium!
When I had access to a computer, I downloaded any free graphics program I could get my hands on and tried to teach myself how to build websites and create images for them. It launched my creative expression into a digital format.
I didn't discover photography until high school, and that's when I would sneak cameras into concerts (IYKYK). I found excitement in getting cool photos with a disposable camera and realized it was something I really enjoyed. I received my first SLR right after high school and never looked back! I fell in love with taking photos and snapped as many as I could for fun. Over time, a few people even started to like my work enough to pay me for it.
With no experience in aviation, I found a job in customer service at a small airport in 2008. The aviation industry felt like home, and after a few years, the company I worked for created a position for me in the marketing department. It was the job of my dreams: taking photos, creating graphics, and traveling. 18 years later, I'm still there, and now, starting Tailwind Creative!
